Karla along with many others helped start the school in 2002. She has been heavily involved with the school and continues to serve as the principle. She functions as the administrator of the school and oversees daily operations. She is married to Joe Powers and has four daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Amy has been working at Mayflower for four years now. She assists Mrs. Powers with all the running of the school. Amy is married to Toby Henry and has three children. Amy enjoys spending time with her family and doing things outdoors.
Mrs. Paup has been teaching at Mayflower for the past 10 years. She loves teaching and being able to show them the love of God and His Word. Jodi has been married for the past 30 years to Chad Paup and has four children. She enjoys biking, kayaking and spending time with her family.
First & Second Grade Teacher
Miss Dillinger has been teaching at Mayflower since the very start of the school. She has loved her last 17 years at Mayflower seeing the eagerness and excitement the students have to learn. She taught in Maryland and Idaho before coming to Creston to teach at Mayflower. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and spoiling her nieces and nephews.
Third & Fourth Grade Teacher
Mrs. Maitlen has been teaching at Mayflower for the past 15 years. She started teaching in the public school systems in 1987, and then had the opportunity to homeschool before teaching at Mayflower. She loves being able to incorporate God's truths into the daily academics. Her husband Steve is a deputy for Union County and they have raised their five children in Creston. She enjoys scrapbooking and talking with people in her spare time.
Fifth & Sixth Grade Teacher
Mr. Walker has taught fifth and sixth grade at Mayflower for the past 13 years and been in the education system for a total of 26 years. He is grateful for the opportunity to be involved in teaching his students about God. He and his wife Brenda have four daughters He enjoys bow hunting and cheering on the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats. He grew up in Maryville, Missouri and attended Northwest Missouri State University.
